Mark started in public accounting nearly 30 years ago, performing audit, exempt-return, and other specialty services for employee benefit plans, labor unions, and nonprofit organizations.
He spent 15 years with a national CPA firm before spending another decade in the private sector serving as CFO for two separate investment management companies (one that specialized in the Taft-Hartley industry). Eventually, Mark returned “home” to public accounting.
Now, Mark leverages his significant experience dealing with complex financial and operational matters, including month-end close, budgeting, internal controls, strategy, and internal and external reporting to better serve his clients.
Mark is a big sports fan; he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and road/mountain biking. He also enjoys watching college football and basketball, NFL, and NHL (go Blackhawks!). Mark has a growing appreciation for the arts, too, as he is currently studying music theory and learning the guitar.
